OSCAR'S SERVICES
The
Oscar Tintori family, knows well how much attention is needed for the
correct treatment of the citrus trees in pot. Not for nothing, we have
been growing citrus plants for over three generations, enabling to
learn and enhance the best techniques.
Today we would like to share our experiences, through new services in
order to see our plants grow even more luxuriantly
• GRANULAR FERTILIZER
"CHICCHI DI SOLE" GRANULAR FERTILIZER

The citrus tree, apart from having the same needs as an evergreen plant,
also requests a big amount of nutritive substances, especially during the
blossoming and the maturing of the fruit.
In order to avoid nutritive lacks it is important to provide the plant
with a product which contains nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and microelements.
The product
“Chicchi di Sole” is a slow-performing granular
fertilizer, especially for all citrus trees in pots, and enhances a vigorous
growth and fructification..
Available in three packages:
500 gr (with proportioning device)
2 kg (with proportioning device)
10 kg (with proportioning device)
• SPECIAL SOIL
"LA TERRA DEI NOSTRI AGRUMI"

Our soil, the fruit of years of investigation,
contains a mixture of high-quality peal and quite heavy soil, which
are the essential components for the correct development of the roots.
The pumice-stone, together with the mixture, avoids that the water
stagnates and guarantees a good permeability. The Ph value, very important
for the citrus trees, is regulated at the preparation thanks to the
use of natural lime.
"La terra dei i nostri agrumi" is
the soil that we use daily for the growing of our plants in pots, which,
together with the
”Chicchi di Sole”, satisfies the needs
of all kinds of citrus trees, and allows us to obtain healthy, growing
and productive plants.

• HISTORICAL DRAWS
EGLE, ARETUSA, ESPERTUSA. THE ART AND SCIENCE OF PAINTING CITRUS PLANTS
Alessandro Tosi
“The perfumes, shapes, colours, flavours and miraculous properties of the “golden apples” (listed as citrons, lemons and oranges) lovingly guarded by Egle, Arethusa and Espertusa, made the mythical Garden of the Hesperides a real garden of delights.
Johann Christoph Volkamer – passionate proclaimer of the beauty of citrus fruits following in the footsteps of Giovan Battista Ferrari, in the "Nürnbergische Hesperides" in 1708 – allows the engraving by Paul Decker to capture the three sisters revealing their domain: voluptuous Egle is the custodian of the oddly shaped citron with its subtle aroma; Arethusa guards the lemon, a precious gem for gardeners and doctors alike; while Espertusa, the third and slightly overshadowed sister, looks after the oranges with their intense colours and flavours.
The fascination of mythology and scientific research meet in the literary device which was a charming allusion to the gifts of nature. The three sisters offered gardeners, doctors and pharmacists so many varieties of the fruit that their easy enthusiasm was well justified and along with the shapes and colours of the golden apples that flourished in their garden they too became an inexhaustible source of inspiration for poets and artists.”
