It has a pronounced umbo and recalls the Interdonato variety. Spheroidal shape, medium thickness papillated peel, sunken neck, not too acidic juice. Elliptical leaf with hinted fins. Few seeds. The fruits ripen throughout the year, although production is richest in May. Plant resistant to parasitic attacks. Some specimens, about eighty years old, are found in a private garden on the island of Favignana in the Sant'Anna district.
