The fruit is medium sized with yellow flesh. The highly aromatic rind is very thin and wrinkled, and the particularly acidic flesh is not very juicy. The plant is slightly incompatible with Poncirus as a rootstock, and should thus be grafted onto a rootstock with more vigorous growth, such as C. Volkameriana.
