Soots and James W. Cameron. It is now one of the most popular varieties of pomelo. The plant is very vigorous, with pendulous growth and highly ornamental large flowers and foliage. It is grown mainly in southern California. The roundish fruit has smooth yellow (sometimes pinkish) rind. It ripens early and can reach a weight of 400–1,000 g. The pleasantly sweet, acidic flesh varies in colour from light to dark pink and is of average juiciness. The intensity of the colour of the rind and the flesh varies according to soil and climate.
