It is similar to the common clementine but is more productive with more constant fruit bearing, and has larger, seedier fruit which ripens earlier. The tree is fairly vigorous with a rounded habit and dense foliage: lanceolate leaves with a pointed tip, and small, white flowers growing singly or in clusters. The fruit is average size, spherical with flattened ends, and thin, orange rind which is loosely attached to the sweet, juicy, yellow-orange and very seedy flesh.
