It was introduced from Paysand\u00f9 in Uruguay to the SRA in Corsica in 1990, by Camille Jacquemond. The vigorous tree, rounded with dense foliage, is similar in appearance to the Mediterranean mandarin. The leaves are small and lanceolate. The clemendor must be pruned annually to obtain fruit of sufficient size. The small fruits are slightly flattened at either end, sugary and very fragrant, and can be picked between January and March, although they remain on the tree and are still juicy even when overripe.  &nbsp;"}
